The 5 Best Places to Visit in Dublin

The festive season is here and people are making arrangements to travel to new places. One of the best places to visit is Dublin. This is because most parts of the city are walk able and the people are very friendly and welcoming. That said, there are 5 places that are you should make sure you visit when in Dublin.

1 – Guinness Store House
Guinness Store House is situated in St James’s Gate, Dublin. It can be accessed by various means such as by tram, bus or foot. The Store House has over 7 storeys which take visitors from the main ingredients used in making Guinness to the Gravity Bar which allows you to have a 360 degree view of Dublin.

2- Temple Bar
Temple Bar is considered to be Dublin’s Cultural Quarter. It is situated between Henry Street and Grafton Street (which are two of the biggest shopping districts) on the Southern Part of River Liffey. The Temple Bar can be accessed from all directions of Dublin through by using a bus, tram or on foot. The area around Temple Bar has some of the best shops, bars and restaurants in Dublin.

3 – Grafton Street
The Grafton Street is found on the Southern Part of the city of Dublin. The street can be accessed by foot, tram or bus. What makes this street unique is the fact that it is a pedestrian only street that runs from St. Stephens Green to the Green College beside Trinity College. The main place to be on the street is at the St. Stephens Green Shopping Centre which has more than 100 shops in a single shopping complex.

4 – National Museum of Ireland – Decorative Arts
This National Museum is located at the Collins Barracks. There are guided tours that cost €2 per person. The tour lasts for about 45 minutes and accommodates about 30 people. This is a very educational and exiting tour about the museum.

5 – Dublin Castle
Dublin Castle is Locate close to Dame Street at Dublin’s City Centre. It can be accessed through a bus, tram or foot. Visitors are always given a tour and shown the luxury apartments that once were used to accommodate Vice Regal Court members.
